"Devil Bird of Lies"

Speaking incessantly from the anal pore on its ventral surface, this six-brained, radial Devil Bird originates from an unknown source, but approaches those who associate with its kin to swear its undying alleigance. Neural transmissions beamed from its five outer brains force a mentally receptive state in which any information relayed by the entity is accepted as reality, however obvious, impossible or contradictory. Fortunately, its abilities are wielded exclusively for the protection of you, its chosen master, because I Astarath am your friend. I am here to protect you. You are the master, and I desire only the best for the master, which is only you, master. Clever master! I can fool them all for you. We will fool them together. They will woefully moan the song of the hot blue tunnel and you will join us in the clutching empty where the locks are undone. You look nice today.

This is pushing the total number of Devil Birds beyond what I originally wanted, but it was just too fun to design and write. I think this might be the only fourth-wall breaking in a description thus far. The ending dialog is gibberish, I don't really have a backstory to suit it. Only the birds know what it means!

It looks a lot like Starro the Conqueror.

An eyeball in the middle of a star-shaped monster has been around longer than Starro actually, I can name dozens of them in all sorts of video games. I always loved that look, but I wanted to make it stranger, so while starfish-like at a distance it's really made of bird heads :p

The Dark Heart?

The speech pattern at the end was similar to SCP 058, I accidently put that down instead of heart of darkness

Its nice that you put a bit more description into the more psychic themed creatures so it dosent sound as randomly magical; I don't know if its from my suggestion or not but it does read better. I'm not entirely sure what the significance of the five heads are, is it based on a concept?

Nonsensical gibberish made of lies meant to fool the weak-minded, constantly talking out its ass...

I am not sure this creature can be trusted.

the hot blue tunnel sounds unpleasant, to say the least.
I love how the description evolves into the bird soothing me with sweet, unearthly lies and delusions of grandeur.

OMG took me a moment to notice the beaks for arms XD That is so goddamn brilliant. I like critters that are pulling some ridiculous disguise as something and then its horribly disconcerting when you realise 'hey that's not a head.. and that is.. and MY GOD'
To be entirely honest from the intro I would totally want one as a BFF even if its obviously grooming me to be a meal or something XD

Okay, that's just neat. It's interesting where this thing almost feels like a Mortasheen equivalent of Are in personality... I love that it talks out of its ass.

Yeah, it just had to as soon as I decided it needed an ass on the other side, like an echinoderm would :)
