The final editing process could take another month, could take a couple. It's all going smoothly so far, but there's still no telling a definite date. Depending on when we complete it, we may even have to hold out a while longer to release it when people will be more likely to buy it; we don't want to be overshadowed by some huge D&D release or catch people right when they're overloaded with holiday bills, for instance. We do have to take profits into consideration first, and it really would be cool if I could live off something other than food stamps and student loans if only for a few weeks
It's still going to be a PDF download for $15, currently with well over a hundred color drawings of mine and a whole, whole lot of extra flavor, story and character stuff that you might like whether or not you play the actual game.
No matter when the RPG release I hope to do something Mortasheen related for Halloween this year, possibly some sort of art contest or maybe just a huge, continuous wave of new monsters. We'll see how it goes!

And it just occurred to me that you're probably getting a present from me this year...
Well, like any RPG world I figure once the game comes out people can make their own monsters, stat them and share them online anyway. I don't think there's any real way to have a set "canon"
I'm not sure I can save it till your birthday if I can finish it before then, though...
