Every year on my website, I blog about my favorite Halloween finds - nearly all of which are toys and decorations featuring nameless, generic monsters. A few of my all-time favorite examples:

What I want you to do is scroll through all these old pages (you can do it! There aren't that many!) until one of these generic, oddball characters demand you illustrate them. Interpret them however you want, whatever style you have access to and send in as many different entries as you want. If you have any generic Halloween trinkets of your own, feel free to illustrate one of those instead, and try to send me a photo of the real thing to include with your entry!
The 3-5 most awesome will get...ranked as the 3-5 most awesome on the page! Yaaay! It's a prize! Really, just do this because it's fun. IT'S FUN BECAUSE I SAY IT IS!

And as per your suggestion, I added one of my own favorites. [link]
This is a great excuse for me to churn out halloween artwork.
Or something.

I just realized thst I left how HIS CAN OF PIE MIX. Now he isn't even a psycho pumpkin chef anymore! He's just a weird pumpkin man inexplicably wearing an apron!

I'll probably end up doing another one, though... this was too fun XD
More entries coming too.
It's a bit hard to see in the pic, but the scorpion and chomper bug look right up your alley.
