I actually write this short story a little while back where a guy coming home from a party found slender man walking smiledog and I didn't now you had written this! I'll just post it here cause why not:
Twas a cold winter morn. I was walking home after a night of revelry, walking through the forest path. In the dark. Drunk.
In case you haven’t noticed, I don’t have the best ideas.
So here I was, walking along, when I began to feel watched. I know, I know; that’s about as cliche as it gets. But it’s true. I thought that somebody was looking at me. Then I heard footsteps, and broke into a run. I heard the footsteps of something assuredly inhuman. They quickened with mine, and then...
“YIP! YIP!” OH! Just a dog. I stopped and turned around. It was a dog alright. A Siberian Husky. And It was grinning ear to ear. It was leashed. I looked up that leash. It stretched an impossible height into the sky. At the end was the long, thin hand of a long, thin, tall man. At least thrice my height. His skin was completely white. His face had no features on it. He wore a black tuxedo, and I saw thousands of black tendrils curling and undulating out of his back. He yanked at the dog’s leash.
“Down! Bad boy! Don’t chase strangers.” He looked at me apologetically. “I’m sorry, you know how pets can be."
