Mortasheen - Zyghast by scythemantis Mortasheen - Zyghast by scythemantis
"Clawbaby"

CLASS: Zombie offspring

An extremely rare result of a zombie mating ritual. Though more commonly produced than Progenoid or Grimgug, Zyghast are far rarer due to an intense craving for the flesh their own kind, and will follow one another's high-pitched, fluting cries from miles away to engage in battle.

The Zyghast prefers to consume prey alive, and administers a paralyzing sting through the tip of its tail, which is oddly incapable of bending backwards.

definately made it on my Mortasheen team. I'm currently drawing my team up on Flash, and I'll be posting it up in a few days.

Like psychosomatic-itch just said: Seems alien to me. ^^
Zyghast is another of my favourite monsters and I'd want to have one in my team.
By the way: How tall (or small) is it?

I do believe we have a winner here. This might just be awesome enough to take my 10th slot, mainly on the account of its forward-only tail.

This is great! I especially love the huge claws on the hands, and I'd totally pay to watch two of these things fight each other.

Do I see a bit of Xenomorphical influence here? The tail and shoulders look awfully familiar. ;)

Is there a huge brain in it's head, or is it just empty space?

A tiny brain surrounded by liquid, I'd say :)
