Mortasheen - Slimewinder by scythemantis Mortasheen - Slimewinder by scythemantis
"Pipe Cleaner"

CLASS: BIOCONSTRUCT

Combining mammalian and piscian traits, this specialized mutant employs its powerful sucking mouth and whirling, clawed tongue to plunge drains and unclog pipes with the utmost effectiveness, subsisting happily on a diet of hair clumps, feces, juvenile crocodilians and whatever else it finds in the line of duty. Up to forty feet of tongue may be coiled in its belly, while its rubbery, mesh-like skeleton and thick coating of mucus even allow it to worm its entire body through most piping.

In combat situations, this monster can probe enemy orifices to attack vital organs with its whirling claws or even slip all the way inside a larger creature.

------------

I knew I wanted a toilet-cleaning monster with a huge sucker plunger and a roto-rooter tongue, but must have gone through dozens of ideas for the rest of it. Tapir-like, anteater-like, wormlike...then finally I thought I should pick something far less expected and went with a horse-like toilet eater. It initially had arms and legs with wrench hooves, but I decided it should be able to just enter pipes and gave it a lamprey-like form which turned out a little seahorse-like, so the final version is a full blown seahorse-lamprey-horse.

I did the mane digitally, not sure I like it yet.

...DO WANT.

This is perhaps my favorite Mortamonster ever! It's so great in its design. The robot-esque tongue is probably my favorite part.

This, perhaps more than any of your other Mortasheen, looks like a bunch of diverse and totally original parts that had no business being brought together in a single organism. :omfg:

One of the all-time greats (or, at least, best of 2010 so far).

Yeah, I'm happy with it :D

Kinda wanted to stick it to the elegant image people have of equines, like I already did with dolphins!

I see what you mean, although to me this is more seahorse than horse. Have you made a horrific Centaur yet? If you haven't, you should sometime.

So how do Slimewinders and Septacles get along?
