Literally a mobile, sentient, self-cleaning organic toilet, this rarely-seen monster is considered a luxury by some, unnecessary and tasteless by others. Difficult to identify as a monster when withdrawn into its shell, it passively consumes all manner of waste and garbage, storing its own highly corrosive waste product in its tank until it finds a suitable place to expel it - sometimes as a weapon. Besides their popularity as novelty appliances, gag gifts and cruel practical jokes, they are occasionally seen as multi-purpose security guards, custodians and emergency facilities at outdoor events.
------------------------ ART STUFF:
A toilet monster was a long time coming. I even sketched one way back when I was first drawing "necromon," but it was a sort of floating nautilus-like creature. That might still be really cool, but I think one is enough and I like the idea of it being more of a polyp, anemone or crinoid sort of form.
I love that, I just had to post it to tumblr. I've seen a fair number of toilet monsters in minor appearances - even a couple cool toys of them, like Fearsome Flush from the Real Ghostbusters and several color-swaps of one in the failed miniatures game "Creepy Freaks."
The Banjo-Kazooie series has a recurring character that is in fact a sentient toilet. He's always got one quest for you, and seems to be a staff favorite. His speech sounds like highly exaggerated farting, even.
You don't remember Loggo? The one in the haunted mansion in the first game, and the factory in the second. You even have to get flushed down him to get one of the jigsaws in the first.
This reminds me of a figure from the Ghost Busters toyline back in the late 80s. And it fits SO in the whole concept of Mortasheen: Weird, funny and scary. ^^

and now I wonder how many killer toilets exist? Are they there own sub-subgenre of monstrous home furnishings, like Deathbeds and Demonic Iceboxes?

...to use this toilet. xp
