"The Pus-Phantom"

CLASS: Zombie
SUBCLASS: Homonculus.

This bizarre monster begins its existence as a spontaneous mutation in a normal zombie, growing in a pus-filled cyst until ready to hatch and begin its endless hunt for meat. The core of its body is little more than a gas-filled tumor with a rudimentary brain, but produces a seemingly endless supply of plasma, symbiotic bacteria and living microfilaments; the tarry, amorphous "pus" that serves as the creature's flesh. Its buoyant body floats like a balloon, but it keeps low to the ground and moves by grasping its surroundings.

Though this lazy creature prefers to scrounge for carrion, a hungry Lesion may spin its own body into a thick web of pus to ensnare live prey or even other zombies. When several lesion meet, they may dig into the ground and form a living sinkhole.
