One of the fastest, largest and most violent of the sea vampires, the devilishly intelligent Hydrac commonly lords over even other vampires within its territory, and will submit only to larger members of its own kind. When the hydrac pulses its multicolored lights, the rest of its body appears completely invisible except for its eyes, which extend on flailing stalks to further confuse onlookers.

yeah, I'm abandoning the theme of fish-vampires having legs or humanoid features in favor of just flying, slithering evil fish. Gill-devil, Makkoron and Siluro are staying, but I'm going to recategorize them as mutants/bioconstructs created by vampires.

Except for the Macra-eyes, the head looks like it came from a Kenner Aliens toy. Which, of course, is a good thing. I also love the scales, and how the lure mingles with the eyes.

Head (actually, the whole thing) is really just taken from a viperfish. I added the stalk-eyes, though they only really have those as (completely different-looking) larvae.
