Description

CLASS: ARTHROPOID

Fusion of a human with a moth. Ranging in size from one to fifteen feet, this worm-like mutation assembles a protective shell entirely from the skulls of its prey, locked together by strong webbing. Muscular cilia lining its body can manipulate this cocoon as a highly dexterous appendage, utilizing hundreds of collective teeth to crawl, burrow and attack. It never willingly reveals its gnarled, slimy form, but sucks victims into its cocoon to feed.

----Stuff----

Major redrawing of one of my personal favorites. Used to be made entirely of human skulls, but they're hard to draw realistically and that didn't even make much sense in a world of various monsters.

Bagworms are actually among my VERY favorite insects, mostly because certain species are sort of like "perpetual" larvae. Males become moths, females become eyeless, legless reproductive machines that die in their bags. One species, the tiny snailcase bagworm, can even reproduce *without* males. This results in all-female offspring, so some populations are completely moth-free, self replicating caterpillars.
