"Wandering Grave"

CLASS: BIOCONSTRUCT

Created as a graveyard security system, this headstone-like monster can freely alter its own molecular density, phasing into a semi-corporeal state to avoid damage or release its bizarre, bird-like weapons. These telepathically controlled bodies are unnaturally strong for their small size, capable of sinking their tiny claws into the toughest metal.

I think it'd be interesting if not odd to share that one of these appeared in a dream of mine recently. The birds weren't involved, it was pure white, and it had an iddy pair of arms, but it was liquidy and identical to this in every other way. I don't quite remember what it did, except that it was an antagonist of some sort for a small portion of the dream shortly before I woke up. That marks the first time a Mortasheen (or a semblance of one) has appeared in a dream of mine (that I vaguely remember), and I'm amused by the fact that it was one I'd earlier not paid too much attention to!

can't describe, disturbing, but I sure can imagine what it's like to see one walking in front of you, nearing you... *spine shivers*

Are those 4 glyphs a reference to the myth of the Golem?

Not really, it's a "tombstone" monster so I was thinking of it as someone's name, or the monster's own inaccurate imitation of writing.

Gloomstone, gloomstone, if you approach one, you are on your own. The birds will claw and tear and you will wish you were elsewhere.
Its better to stay away and not be torn up another day.

Great job with this.

I love how solid it looks but with the odd patch of liquid too.
