The rare result of a zombie mating ritual, the Foetusaur is physically frailer than the closely related Zyghast and Progenoid, but slightly more intelligent and significantly more agile. It pants loudly through its writhing trunk, tasting the air for potential prey. It favors the intestines and their contents above any other meal, often leaving satiated after sucking them from a still-living victim. Its own corrosive digestive contents can be expelled with impressive force from the trunk as a defense mechanism, and have an especially detrimental effect on the flesh of zombies, halting their ability to regenerate.
Foetusaur are able to move only by hopping, but can leap several yards in pursuit of prey.

ART STUFF:
This will be the last of the evolved zombie spawn, which makes six in total - Foetusaur, Zyghast, Progenoid, Ectozyme, Grimgug, and Psychophagus (described in the zombryoids upload)
I originally wasn't even going to do this one because it felt too close to Zyghast, but it was a design I just had to use. Though early sketches have already been compared to the awesome extinct animal, Opabinia, it's actually inspired by an unnamed background monster from an episode of "The Real Ghostbusters", which had a similar mouth and back spines
WHY DID YOU DO THAT. I was so settled on Zyghast being my final team member but now this one throws a wrench into all of this and I am torn once again! >:O CUURRSSEE YOUUUU, INSIDIOUS BOGLEECH.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant.
