This reviled hermaphroditic monster lusts for any chance to plunge its twin reproductive "stingers" into a living host, one injecting a single spermatozoon and the other a single egg cell. Though the original body will perish shortly thereafter, its seed will almost inevitably locate its egg and begin development of a new body, retaining the parent's complete memory and personality with some fragments of the host's mind. Hosts immediately begin to behave erratically, turning on associates or even injuring themselves as the embryo grows, maturing in only 22 hours and tearing free from the host, sometimes fatally. Rarely, the parasite may split into identical twins or triplets, though only one will remember its previous life. Feral Depraven may organize into flocks or "ravages" endlessly parasitizing one another for their mutual survival and enjoyment.
Depraven learn to speak most languages quite fluently over their many lives, but have little to say that isn't licentious, insensitive or misanthropic; they get a petty thrill out of negative attention, and feel an obsessive need to emotionally agitate a victim before parasitic assault. More often than not, a Depraven can be completely repelled by simply ignoring the lewd insults and offensive jokes it takes such pride in.
Depraven adore alcoholic beverages, but handle them poorly.
I like the idea that it appears to be a (mostly) ordinary-looking raven when the genitals are retracted. And the way they endlessly parasitize one another in the wild. I keep picturing just a big, monstrous mound of wet, screeching birds and veiny, throbbing tentacles writhing around in the middle of a cornfield (I picture this happening in a cornfield for some reason. Possibly because of the crow motif, or possibly because I used to have a cornfield in my backyard as a kid and those things can be just dang creepy).

drunky crow?
I wonder what sort of masochistic scientist would create something like this? There is already enough rape monsters in Mortasheen.
