One of several varieties of hunting-bat engineered by intelligent vampires, these creatures are bred completely immune to vampirism as they may otherwise compete with their masters for blood.
Primarily used to keep livestock (such as humans) from escaping, the bizarre Clawsimon emits a cold, red light from its dish-like face that forces other creatures to freeze in place. Though only half the size of a man, it is more than strong enough to carry one away in its prehensile tail, which it hangs from to avoid wearing down its talons.
The only audible sound a Clawsimon produces is a loud bee-like buzzing by vibrating its face.
It reminds me of the night-gaunt from the Cthulu Mythos.
