Rarely reproduced, the original Cackle was designed to protect its creator's children, but is said to have suddenly and inexplicably led them deep into a toxic bog from which it returned alone, pleased that the children were safe now that nobody, even the Cackle, had any idea where they were and it would never have to work again. Still prone to twisting their orders into sick pranks, these deviously playful monsters are most prized for their telekinetic "puppetry" that forces other beings to imitate the Cackle's movements.
You know what's really strange? This is one of the only Mortasheen monsters that actually scares me! After viewing this entire carnival of freaks, and loving nearly all of them... I find myself scared of Mr. Squash-For-A-Head.
Maybe it's those wriggling tentacle-limbs, or maybe it's that hollow stare and toothy grin... *shudder*
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example.
