"Squealing Joker"

CLASS: JOKER

Almost rivaling the destructive power of the Harlequeen, the Cacchinnox is aberrant even by Joker standards; no less playful and anarchic, but crueler, more bloodthirsty. Whether friend or foe, its every action carries some element of malice, its sense of humor more focused on inflicting as much physical harm and emotional torture as it possibly can. Prone to bullying even their own kind, the beasts are are often kept deeply imprisoned within the Joker Hive.

A Cacchinnox blows thousands of colorful, toxic mucus bubbles to quickly disorient its victims. Its intensely shrill giggle is finely tuned to cause intense physical discomfort in most other beings, and a single focused squeak can inflict debilitating agony. Its rubbery body can compress to less than a tenth its length at rest, allowing the creature to launch itself like a spring.

Genetic sequencing places the Cacchinnox surprisingly far from other known Jokers, possibly representing an assimilated natural species or a relic of the most ancient, prototypical Joker lineage.

--------------

I've already got kind of a running gag now where the meanest and most vile monster in any given class is usually a dolphin, and I figure it suits Jokers most of all.

I'm not sure there could ever be a dolphin-like devil bird or arthropoid, but time will tell...

I draw my monsters in mechanical pencil, then touch them up heavily in Paint Tool Sai, which I also do all my other color art in. It's the best drawing program! GIMP is a free alternative other people prefer, but I never learned my way around it.

I have a wacom bamboo tablet :)

Photoshop was designed mainly for photo editing, but its tools can incidentally also be used for drawing, which is why it can seem clunky for art. Paint Tool Sai is basically like Photoshop if it had always been devoted to drawing, and I found it easier to navigate and get used to, as well!

My tablet was originally $99, but there may be cheaper ones available now. If you currently use a mouse, though, you still can in Sai!

My version of Sai was given to me, you usually have to buy it and download English translation. So, if you have trouble getting it you might try that "Gimp" program instead, I know a lot of people who love it just as much.

All the wacom brand tablets work about the same, and seem to be the standard. There's a cheaper brand out there that some people even prefer, but I forget what it's called and I've heard it's hard to install.

Oh, the dolphin thing.

Well, Z-series is just one type of biomecha. I meant to have a whole lot more, I just keep flip-flopping on their designs and themes. If there's ever a dolphin biomecha it will likely be a unique one-off not connected to Z or any particular series :)

Maybe there will be a Y-series Marine locomotion baised robot series?
