A quick, bored doodle that I blew up and am now trying to pass off as a completed "work".
This is just a (slightly caricatured) sheep ked. A real insect sometimes inaccurately called a "sheep tick". They are flies that live in the manner of lice or ticks on the bodies of birds and mammals (in this case, sheep). Many related species are wingless, while others (like the sheep ked) have only stunted wings that eventually fall off as they rub in the fur of their host. I find the concept of a flightless, parasitic fly to be far more fascinating than is probably healthy. I can't help but compare them to dodos or kiwis.
