Early 2009 I was paid by fay-sim.com to design and draw a series of monsters for their "darkness" element. I was still drawing with just a mouse at the time, so this was all pretty time consuming and they would have looked a bit better if I'd drawn them now, but I like them well enough and thought I should finally upload some of them here at a nice size.

This one-eyed bird concept was also a scrapped Mortasheen design (it became Bemzuul)

This is my favorite of your Fay designs, and one of the most instantly likeable monsters on your site, and yet I can't explain why. I guess there's just something deeply compelling in its simplicity.

Overall, I'd say these Fay designs have a high standard of quality. Your creatures seemed to be in a slump for a while, but the ones from the last couple weeks have been great, maybe better than at any other time in your gallery's history.
