Baby Hell

Like most non-parents, I resent the impossibility of shopping for any length of time without hearing someone's child start wailing like it's being tortured, for no apparent reason other than being in a store. Sometimes it isn't even a baby, but some atrocious nine year old who should have long outgrown the behavior.

It may just be that in their primordial, half-formed baby-brains, they know what's in store for their wretched souls on the other side.
