Artist's Comments

A lot of the sketch lines in these were actually added later to make them look like more "authentic" toy concepts.

I never use any of that stuff. Everything I've ever drawn, I put directly to paper with all the lines and details it will ever have. I draw it lightly first, but the final result is just a direct tracing.

Alternative names in the upper corner are Hemoglob and Hemivore. Hirudoglobin was another one (before I named his assistant) but was too long.

"Hirudo" = leech.

I tend to draw things that way too, actually-- my drawings are kinda like lines pretending to have shapes underneath.

I love this guy's head. The modular hand is a cool idea, too!
